Just a short seventeen years after his Dawn of the Dead remake, Zack Snyder is going back to the world of zombies with his new movie Army of the Dead. We were first introduced to the idea back in 2007, which makes it 14 years in the making. Snyder’s latest, starring Dave Bautista and a whole bunch of undead ghouls(not zombies), is coming exclusively to Netflix on May 21, and we’ve got the teaser trailer for ya.

The trailer though short highlights a post-apocalyptic vision of Las Vegas and the thousands upon thousands of zombies that now call the place home. And yes, there is one zombie walking around dressed as Elvis, which feels like a total homage to the “celebrity lookalike” zombies in Dawn of the Dead. In the film. “Following a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas, a group of mercenaries takes the ultimate gamble, venturing into the quarantine zone to pull off the greatest heist ever attempted.”

From the director of Dawn of the Dead, Watchmen, and Man of Steel, comes Army of the Dead, starring Dave Bautista, Ella Purnell, Omari Hardwick, Ana De La Reguera, Theo Rossi, Matthias Schweighöfer, Nora Arnezeder, Hiroyuki Sanada, Garret Dillahunt, Tig Notaro, Raúl Castillo, Huma Qureshi, Samantha Win, Richard Cetrone and Michael Cassidy.

The film is written by Zack Snyder, Shay Hatten, and Joby Harold.  The movie is rated “R” for zombie/heist onslaught.
